Grandma's Chicken Casserole

Four chicken breasts baked (or cook on top of stove)

1 teaspoon worchester sauce
1  cup cheddar cheese
2-10oz packag frozen broccoli
1/2 cup mayo
2 cans cream of chicken soup
1/2 teas curry powder
2 Tablespoons butter
1/2 cup bread crumbs(Pepperidge farm)either regular or cornbread style
 
Mix all ingredients except cheese and butter and crumbs and bake at 350 for about a half hour to forty five minutes

You can add the bean sprouts and water chestnuts also.  In fact you could incorporate the two recipes or exchange some of the ingredients.  Like cans of chicken soup(or mushroom)instead of all of that Mayo.

Apple Cake


  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 2 cups white sugar
  • 1 cup vegetable oil
  • 4 eggs
  • 1/4 cup orange juice
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 3 apples - peeled, cored and sliced (add apples to middle of cake and on top)
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 5 teaspoons white sugar


Preheat oven to 350 degrees

White Wine Sauce Over Pasta

Angel Hair ala Vodka w/ Crab

  • 2 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 to 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup vodka
  • 1 1/2 cups of heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup tomato sauce
  • Salt and pepper
  • Fresh Parmesan cheese, grated
  • Crab Meat
In a large skillet heat olive oil. Add garlic and cook for 30 seconds. Add vodka and cook until the flames dissipate. Add cream and bring to a boil. Reduce heat so that cream simmers. Stir until mixture has reduced in volume by half. Add tomato sauce and season with salt and pepper. Add cooked pasta. Stir until coated and heated through. Serve with grated Parmesan cheese.

Crab Cake

Jumbo Lump Crab Meat
Mayo
Panko Breadcrumbs
Old Bay Seasoning
Egg Whites
Worcestershire Sauce
Chopped Onion
Ground Pepper
Minced Parsley
Dash of Cayenne Pepper
Lemon Juice
Dry Mustard

Separate half of the crab meat to mix into the crab mix.  Gently add the large pieces of crab meat into the mix.  Melt butter and pour over the top of the crab cake before you put it in the oven.  Broil in the oven.

Horseradish
Minced Onion
